Project overview
The GPRS project covers packet-core experimentation and handset interoperability, aimed at representing the strange transitional era where mobile telephony stopped being just voice and started carrying little chunks of the wider networked world.
Current state
This one is still in planning, because the museum prefers to understand a thing properly before it starts wiring it together like a sleep-deprived goblin.
Museum intent
The aim is not nostalgia for its own sake. It is to preserve behaviour, infrastructure, and context, so the hardware can be understood as part of a living system rather than a mute prop.
