2G GSM

The GSM project is intended to cover voice, SMS, SIM provisioning, and interoperability across compatible 2G-era devices relevant to Australian mobile history.

It sits on the roadmap as a major build, but remains in planning while hardware, architecture, and compliance constraints are carved into something workable.

The aim is not nostalgia for its own sake. It is to preserve behaviour, infrastructure, and context, so the hardware can be understood as part of a living system rather than a mute prop.
