Paging

The museum paging project is intended to bring legacy pagers back into service on-site, with message injection tooling and supporting infrastructure that lets visitors and researchers experience the network as more than inert plastic.

This project is active, but the exact hardware stack is still being assembled from whatever bargains and miracles can be dragged out of the shadows.

The aim is not nostalgia for its own sake. It is to preserve behaviour, infrastructure, and context, so the hardware can be understood as part of a living system rather than a mute prop.
